A gun rack for the Wasatch Front
Utah hunting happens on a clock that everybody here knows by heart. The general-season buck deer rifle hunt runs nine days in late October, the general bull elk hunts fall in the first half of the month, and the duck season on the Great Salt Lake marshes opens in early October and runs into January. Between those, chukar season keeps people climbing shale in the Oquirrhs and the Stansburys from late September on.
